Welcome to the Fairy-Tale Garden
Who says fairy tales exist only in books? In the Fairy-Tale Garden, they come to life – right in the heart of the Blühendes Barock in Ludwigsburg.
Here, young and old visitors stroll along enchanted paths, past Rapunzel’s tower, Hansel and Gretel’s gingerbread house, or straight to the Frog Prince at his fountain. More than 40 lovingly designed scenes bring well-known stories to life – inviting you to marvel, explore, and take part.
Whether it’s a boat ride on the Fairy-Tale Stream, a visit to the sleeping giant, or a curious peek into the realm of the dwarfs – every step here becomes an adventure.

For a more relaxed visit to the Fairy-Tale Garden, it’s best to come during the week or early in the morning.

Older children and young adults can explore the many charming details and interactive features – and even adults will soon find themselves transported back to their own childhood.
For a visit to the Fairy-Tale Garden, we recommend allocating about 3 to 5 hours – especially if you also want to include the historic carousel and the cabrio swing at the Schüsselesee. The actual time spent, of course, depends on how curious your little explorers are along the way.
If you also want to explore the palace gardens, the large play areas, or one of the seasonal exhibitions, you can easily spend a full day at the Blühendes Barock.
