Fairytale Festival on 1 and 2 August 2026
On the first weekend of August, the Blühendes Barock transforms into a magical world of experiences. This year, the Fairytale Festival revolves around the theme “Fairytale Blossom Magic” — a celebration for children, families, and everyone who loves to explore, play, and marvel.
Along enchanting themed sets, creative hands-on activities invite visitors to explore. The large discovery rally with an explorer’s pass leads through the Fairytale Garden down to the Pumpkin Meadow. The popular search quiz also returns, requiring keen observation. Those who participate actively can look forward to small rewards.
A highlight is the Rapunzel contest at the Emichsburg, organized by age groups.
Admission is included in the regular garden entry ticket. Children up to four years old enter free of charge. Public transport is recommended for visiting.
Explorer passes can be picked up at the ticket counters or at the activity stations.

Yes, the Fairytale Festival is included in the regular Blühendes Barock day ticket. No separate event ticket is required.
Tickets that have already been purchased are non-refundable.
Yes, dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short leash. They are not allowed on play areas, planting areas, or near animals in the park. Owners must immediately clean up after their pets.
