The Magic of Lights: August 16, 2025

On Saturday, August 16, 2025, the traditional Magic of Lights transforms Blühendes Barock in Ludwigsburg into a sparkling summer festival. From 2:00 p.m. into the evening, visitors can enjoy a diverse program filled with light, music, creative crafts, and magical fire displays – perfect for sharing special moments with the whole family.

Highlights of the Day:

• Model Boats on the South Garden Lake (14:00 – 21:00):
  Model boat enthusiasts present their intricate vessels on the large lake. Visitors can marvel at the precision and craftsmanship of these miniature ships throughout the afternoon and evening.

• Live Music:
  Starting at 6:00 p.m., the top three winners of the 2025 International Street Music Festival bring the Lower East Garden stage to life with diverse musical styles. At the Parkcafé stage, popular festival musicians deliver captivating performances. In total, six acts showcase the full spectrum of street music, inviting guests to linger, listen, and enjoy.

• Lantern Workshop & Parade (16:00 – 20:00):
  In Hahn’s Garden, next to the Orangerie, children and families can craft their own lanterns. At 8:00 p.m., the lantern parade begins, winding through the Upper East Garden and around the Schüsselesee, creating a breathtaking display of hundreds of lights.

• Clown and Magician Tilo Schoppe:
  With two early evening performances, he amazes both children and adults with charming magic and playful acts, perfectly complementing the festival’s program.

• Grand Finale – Light and Music Show (21:30):
  At the Emichsburg in the Lower East Garden, a 15-minute spectacular combines light, music, and pyrotechnics. Accompanied by emotional songs including hits by Sia such as Titanium, Gimme Love, Music, Beautiful People, Burn the Pages, and Chandelier, the garden transforms into a stage for an unforgettable show, produced by Flashart. Modern LED elements, solar-powered lights, and gentle illuminations create a magical atmosphere.
