Lichterzauber – 15 August 2026
On Saturday, 15 August 2026, the traditional Lichterzauber transforms Blühendes Barock in Ludwigsburg into a sparkling summer festival. From 2:00 PM until the evening, visitors can enjoy a diverse program full of light, music, creative crafts, and magical fire displays. Families can experience special moments together and soak up the summer atmosphere.
From 2:00 PM, model boat enthusiasts will present their delicate ships on the large lake in the South Garden. Until 9:00 PM, visitors can watch the miniature boats in action and marvel at the precision and passion of their creators.
In Hahn’s Garden – next to the Orangerie – lanterns can be crafted from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Children and families can let their creativity run free and design their own glowing artworks. At 8:00 PM, the grand lantern parade begins, winding through the Upper East Garden and around the Schüsselesee. At dusk, hundreds of lights create a breathtaking spectacle that enchants visitors every year.
The evening concludes at 9:30 PM with the approximately 15-minute light and music show at Emichsburg in the Lower East Garden. Soft illuminations, modern LED elements, and solar-powered lights create a magical atmosphere.
A wide selection of food and beverages will be available for visitors. For safety, random bag checks will be conducted. The program ends around 10:00 PM.

Yes, dogs are welcome but must be kept on a short leash. They are not allowed on play areas, flowerbeds, or near animals. Owners must immediately clean up after their pets. Due to large crowds, bringing a dog is generally not recommended.
