How to get to the Blooming Baroque

Arriving by public transport:
The Blooming Baroque Ludwigsburg can be reached from Stuttgart with the S-Bahn lines S4 (direction Marbach) and S5 (direction Bietigheim) in 12 minutes. In addition, the trains of the Stuttgart - Würzburg, Stuttgart - Karlsruhe and Stuttgart - Heilbronn trains stop at Ludwigsburger Bahnhof. To the Blooming Baroque there are numerous bus connections from the central bus station, which is located directly at the station. In 10 to 15 minutes on foot, you can reach the Blooming Baroque on foot.

Arriving by car:
Ludwigsburg is connected with two motorway exits to the A 81. Coming from Munich, take the exit Ludwigsburg Süd, from Würzburg / Heilbronn take the exit Ludwigsburg Nord. From Stuttgart and Heilbronn Ludwigsburg is also easily accessible via the federal highway 27. The way towards the city center and the blooming Baroque is signposted.

  • Low Emission zone
    In Ludwigsburg the regulations of the environmental zone apply. Vehicles traveling in the Ludwigsburg environmental zone must be marked with a green environmental badge. This requirement also applies to guests who visit the city and the Blooming Baroque.
  • Ludwigsburg is a regional environmental zone
    Since 1 January 2013, the entire district of Ludwigsburg is part of the first regional environmental zone. The districts Neckarweihingen and Poppenweiler including the L 1100 national road then belong to the environmental zone. In addition to Ludwigsburg, the regional environmental zone includes the municipalities Asperg, Bietigheim-Bissingen, Freiberg, Ingersheim, Kornwestheim, Markgroningen,   Möglingen, Pleidelsheim and Tamm. In the south, it is growing together with the Stuttgart environmental zone.
  • Do visitors and tourists also need a badge?
    Anyone who wants to drive into an environmental zone needs a badge - whether native or not. This usually applies to foreign vehicles as well.

Stuttgart Airport:
Ludwigsburg is around 30 kilometers from Stuttgart Airport. Take the S-Bahn lines S2 or S3 to the main station Stuttgart, then continue with the S4 or S5 to Ludwigsburg.

 

Parking at your visit

Simply follow the parking guidance system in Ludwigsburg and you will automatically be guided to the parking lots for the Blooming Baroque.
Parking in the parking garage Rathaus (entrance [Mathildestraße 27]) or in the parking lot Forum / Blooming Baroque (entrance & Navi-Address: Friedrich-Ebert-Straße) are about 300 meters away from the main entrance.
The Akademiehofgarage is opposite the entrance to the parking garage Rathaus (entrance & Navi-Address: Mathildenstraße) - the way to the BlüBa is only insignificantly further.
